Wish I could rate 0 stars. My grandpa was in there a few days ago for literally 5 hours and received awful care. Wasn’t given his pain meds on time, pressed the call button a million times and no one ever came, as well as them not even coming in when my grandpa had passed. They pretty much treated him as nothing because “hospice” should’ve done it. Very disappointed in this place and people here. Sad people’s lives end here with such mean and unkind care. Do better.
As someone who works in media and spends a lot of time observing how organizations communicate, operate, and care for the people they serve, I was genuinely impressed with Jackson Creek Post Acute in Missouri. From my experience, the administration stands out for being organized, responsive, and truly engaged in the well-being of their residents and staff. You can tell there is strong leadership behind the scenes creating a supportive and compassionate environment. The team reflects that leadership through their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. It’s clear that the culture here prioritizes dignity, respect, and quality care. I’m grateful to have seen the dedication of this staff and administration firsthand.
My dad was there for 21 days. There were some rude nurses. Also I walked into the facility and could see his call light on as I walked in. The nurses sitting at the desk were not reacting. God forbid any of these times it was an emergency. Residents Losing their dignity because they are stuck on the toilet for x amount of time without the necessary help.
Horrible experience at this facility. Our family member was only there for one week and the amount of incidents were unbelievable. The Admission nurse on the evening of 1/23/26 was rude, short and disrespectful to the transportation driver and our family. Staff would leave meals on the table and leave the room, not asking if family could assist or if family member needed help; although they could not get out of bed or feed themselves. Staff did not make rounds every two hours or respond promptly to call light, leaving our loved one feeling shame and lacking respect for their dignity. No communication from the Social Worker or Director of Nursing after leaving messages. Was told by the front desk that “State was in the building so you know how that goes” when asked if they were working during the week. We chose to remove our family member to go home to continue therapy and provide them with respectful care. The facility forced them to sign an AMA form, would not order home heath or their prescriptions. We left because lack of care not against medical advice.
Jackson Creek Post Acute has a wonderful team of caring and attentive staff. Everyone is kind, respectful, and truly dedicated to making residents feel comfortable and well cared for.
Visited during my trip out of state because my best friend has an immediate family relative housed there and the level of care was incredible. I was shocked at the cleanliness of the facility, the kindness of staff and the level of care. It didn’t feel like this individual was just another patient. It felt there was compassion and love in the caretaking. There was a sense of familial connection between employees and patients that I was honestly shocked to witness. Usually in any medical environment, I notice just mundane operations. But it felt different here. My best friend had been searching for care for this beloved member of her family for a long time and it was difficult given our out of state residency. We did research and are always skeptical of new environments and new prior, but being there in person each visit has shown her that it was the right decision to trust this building. And me after visiting, was able to second that. I am thoroughly impressed with the manner in which the professionals at the center cared not only for those living there, but for the family members who visit, who call to check in, who ask questions about care for their loved ones, who fear leaving their loved ones there, etc. I looked in the eyes of employees who actually love their job and therefore created a welcoming and nurturing environment which patients can call home, can call safe, can be at ease with. I’ve visited facilities before back home and in this state, but so many a time I was saddened when leaving, because it felt like me and my best friend were leaving our beloved in some sort of jail while we went off to live our lives. But it wasn’t like that here. I honestly want to thank the staff for doing their job in a way that honors the dignity of those whom they serve. I truly believe that God sees when hearts are involved in the work of any hand, and for that, I am grateful for their call to action. I can only imagine the pain of my best friend as her loved one previously hopped from facility to facility. A loved one who I care about deeply, and also grew up around. Until now. I thank the Lord that there are still good people out there in a world of money hungry big pharma companies, medical platforms, etc. A nursing home is never an easy decision to settle on, and no matter how much you love someone, sometimes it is the only realistic answer. That can naw at the soul with such guilt. It’s not easy and it eats at your soul. But places like this facility make life a little easier, a little more bearable… for all parties involved. From the bottom of my heart, a sincere THANK YOU to the staff and management who make such a difference for people in the world… one gesture at a time. May God continue to bless the work of your hands, as well as those whom are at your earthly mercy.
Very impressed with the nursing leadership at this facility. The nurse manager is attentive, approachable, and clearly focused on maintaining quality care.
Based on extended experience a family member had here. The facility care areas and therapy spaces are clean and well equipped.
The Director of Nursing and managers are visible and clearly care about both residents and staff. Any concern was taken seriously and handled promptly. Overall, a well-run facility with compassionate people.
From the moment you walk in, you can feel the difference. The staff are not only professional and knowledgeable, but genuinely compassionate. Nurses, therapists, and aides take the time to know residents personally, not just clinically, which makes families feel confident their loved ones are in caring hands. The level of care is exceptional. Whether it’s short term rehab or long term care, the attention to detail, communication with families, and coordination of services are top of the line. The building is clean, welcoming, and well-maintained, and residents are treated with dignity and respect at all times.
